Things to know before switching your home loan

You need to be 18 years or older

You need to live in South Africa and have a valid ID card or document or a valid passport and work permit

Do you have a single or joint income of at least R10,000 a month?

Do you know if you have a good credit score?

Documents you'll need

A valid South African ID or passport
Your latest payslip or other proof of income
Your latest bank statements for the past 3 months
Bond statements from your existing home loan provider for the past 6 months

Where there is more that one applicant, each will need to submit their own documents.
