Hammond Murray Des Fontaine

Mr. Des Fontaine is a Fellow Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in the professional services sector. Hammond is presently a Partner at Chapmans Chartered Accountants where he specialises in taxation, transaction advisory and corporate finance as well as pursuing certain private business interests. Prior to this, Hammond was with Deloitte for twenty two years having first trained and qualified in the audit and assurance function, after which he was admitted as an Audit Partner and later specialising in the role of Tax Partner where he was the tax leader for Deloitte Central Africa. He has gained extensive experience in serving a large cross spectrum of local and multinational businesses in all sectors of the economy. He joined the Board in November 2017. He is the current Chairman of the Loans Review Committee and a member of the Audit Committee.
