Nedbank Funeral Plan
Terms and Conditions
- Cover is applicable to all Nedbank account holders.
- There is a waiting period of two (2) months on all members to be covered under this scheme.
- If a premium is not received within the month in consideration, there is no cover.
- A completed claim form is required to claim.
- Premiums are paid monthly in advance.
- Cover ceases when the member ceases to be an account holder.
- Cash-in-lieu of services will be available after two (2) of the policy being in force.
- If you want to add other dependents or your family– Kindly visit any of our branches for assistance.

- Option for 100% Cash-in-lieu of Service available at claim stage

- The premium/cost per month is just USD1.00
Data Requirements
- The bank is to supply data electronically in excel to the insurer on a monthly basis in terms of existing and new account holders.
- The details to be captured per each account holder are as listed below:
- Surname and forename(s)
- Date of birth
- National Identity number
- Account number
- Date of entry
- Insurance premium
- Bank commission
Claim Documents
A completed and authorized claim form is to be submitted by the bank, together with a burial order. Name of beneficiary and his/her bank account details or cell number where payment is to be through mobile phone.
