R50,000 for individuals.
You cannot add to your investment, but you can start a new one (subject to the minimum amount).
5-year investment term.
Withdrawals
You can make 1 partial withdrawal or withdraw the full amount.
The withdrawal value is limited to the initial capital amount minus any benefit paid, plus 5% interest compounded annually.
If you withdraw only some of the money, the remaining amount will continue to grow until maturity.
You can use the investment as collateral for a loan or transfer full ownership to another person.
Death benefit during the investment term
If you pass away during the investment term, your beneficiaries will receive the greater of the initial capital and surrender value, less any previous payments.
If no beneficiaries were nominated, the money will be paid to your estate.
If you nominated only 1 beneficiary, they can continue with the policy.
