This will be the address where the courier service will deliver your licence disc.

The delivery address must be a physical address.

The courier cannot deliver to a PO Box or Private Bag address.

The physical address will be used to deliver the licence disc to you by courier.

Delivery usually takes 3–5 working days. Delivery to outlying areas may take longer.

You will receive two SMSs.

The first SMS will contain a link to the courier site where you can find the waybill number and track your licence disc delivery.

The second SMS is sent when the courier is en route to deliver the licence disc.

Please contact the courier company Skynet or Brima Logistics. You would have received an SMS with the details and link to track your licence disc. If a tracking number starts with ‘08’ the courier company is Skynet. If the tracking number starts with a ‘B’ the courier company is Brima Logistics. If you have any queries contact: Skynet customer services line on 087 106 9966 or visit www.skynet.co.za or Brima Logistics customer services line on 011 552 8230 or visit www.brima.com.

Yes. If multiple vehicles are due for renewal, you may submit them simultaneously.

You may renew your vehicle licence disc 60 days in advance.

You will not be able to complete a vehicle licence renewal application on our channels for any of these reasons:

  • You have another vehicle that has an expired licence disc – you must renew all expired licence discs at once.

  • There is an enforcement order against you.

  • The vehicle requires roadworthiness certification.

  • There is an administration mark that could prevent the issuing of the licence disc.

  • The vehicle has a police mark, or a police clearance is required.

Note: For more information contact your local traffic department.

  • If you have more than one unlicenced vehicle, ensure that all vehicle licences are paid at the same time.

  • Ensure all that enforcement orders are paid beforehand.

  • Take the vehicle(s) for a roadworthiness test to ensure that a licence disc is issued.

  • Contact the licencing office to resolve the administration mark issue where possible.

  • Ensure that the police have verified the vehicle and it has been cleared by the licencing office.
