How to keep your money safe

 
  • Only you should know your Nedbank ID username and password and card PIN. Never share this information over the phone with anyone, even if they claim to work for Nedbank.
  • Never enter this information on a website that you have accessed through a link in an email or SMS.
  • Read your Approve-it messages carefully; don’t just accept them. 
  • Never share a one-time password (OTP) with anyone, even if they claim to work for Nedbank.
  • If you receive an SMS for a SIM swap or number port that you did not request or lose cellphone connectivity without reason, call your service provider and let us know immediately. 
  • Report any suspected fraud on 0800 110 929.
