To ensure that our online and mobile banking services are user-friendly for persons with disabilities, we strive to comply with the latest Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2) standards and guidelines.
We can do this together
Currently, our most essential online and mobile banking services are available to clients who use adaptive software.
For an improved user experience we are continuously enhancing accessibility to these services on both our Online Banking and Money app platforms.
If you find that a specific service is not yet available on your Online Banking, please try using the Money app - and vice versa.
Your feedback is always appreciated and together we can ensure world-class banking accessibility for all on every Nedbank platform.
Using our new digital banking services: Frequently asked questions
- For everything you need to know about using Nedbank’s new Online Banking and Money app go to Online Banking FAQs
- To access our frequently asked questions (FAQs) with screen reader software you will need to navigate to each question and then press the spacebar or 'Enter' key to expand its content. Relevant answers will be shown directly underneath each question and can be read using normal navigation keys.
Recommended browsers
- To ensure that you experience our latest enhancements on Nedbank Online Banking, we recommend that you refresh your cache before logging in. You can do this by pressing Ctrl + F5.
- We recommend that low-vision users enable Windows 10 Magnifier or a magnification package of their choice. You can zoom in or out using the Ctrl + + or Ctrl + - keys but this could cause accessibility shortcomings if the browser zoom level is higher than 100%. Our built-in magnification tool does not override the keyboard shortcuts for zooming in and out but we aim to resolve this in a future update.
- For the best user experience, we recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome or Chromium-based Microsoft Edge.
- Always make sure that you have the latest version of the browser.
Supported screen reader packages
- For a quality Online Banking or Money app experience we recommend that you use NVDA, a free screen reader by NvAccess.
- We also recommend that you use the latest Money app available at your iOS or Google Play Store.
