How to request a cross-border letter if you are planning to drive your car across the border

Did you know that you can request a cross-border letter if you are driving out of South African borders? 

Here's how

  1. Log in with your Nedbank ID, app PIN or fingerprint.
  2. Select VAF/MFC account
  3. Select Features
  4. Select Statements and documents
  5. Select Cross-border letter
  6. Input Travel information
  7. Enter your email address
  8. Select request

We will then email your cross-border letter to the address that we have on record.

And you’re done.
