Terms and conditions
1. The promoter
Nedbank Limited, registration number 1951/000009/06 (we, us, our), runs this competition. We reserve the right to make it available to certain Nedbank clients.
2. Competition period
The competition starts on 1 May 2026 and ends on 31 March 2027 (competition period).
3. Who can and cannot participate in the competition
3.1 A participant (you, your) must:
3.1.1 be 18 years or older;
3.1.2 be a South African citizen with a South African ID document;
3.1.3 be a natural person who is a Nedbank personal banking (consumer) client with an active Nedbank product or account;
3.1.4 must have downloaded and registered the Nedbank Money App; and
3.1.5 ensure that your account/s is/ are in good standing, which means that it may not be in arrears or have been handed over for legal collection.
3.2 The following Nedbank clients are excluded from participation in this competition: Small Business Services and Business Banking clients, Nedbank Private Wealth clients, trusts, legal entities/juristic persons, asylum seekers and refugees, clubs, and stokvels.
3.3 Our employees (including temporary and contract employees), associated companies, agents, contractors, and sponsors may not participate in the competition.
4. How to enter
4.1 To stand a chance to win the prize, you must do the following during the competition period:
4.1.1 log in to the Nedbank Money App at least 20 times a month and get an entry into the draw for that month.
5. The prize
Every month one participant stands a chance to win an adventure experience up to the value of R20;000.
Winners can select 1 of the following adventure experiences:
- MSC Boat Cruise package
- Hot air balloon package
- Safari Game Reserve package
- Weekend away, including a couples' Spa experience
- Shopping experience/ Takealot vouchers
- Local holidays getaway
- A tailor-made experience of your choice, subject to the options available through the appointed agent.
Winners may invite one or more guests, provided that the total value of the all‑inclusive adventure experience does not exceed R20,000.
Any additional expenses that may cause the overall cost of the adventure experience to exceed R20,000 will be for the winner's own account.
If the total cost of your adventure experience is less than R20,000, we will provide you with an Avo Voucher or a supplier voucher to cover the difference, ensuring the full value of R20,000 is available for your adventure.
All winners and their guests must comply with the supplier’s terms and conditions applicable to the selected adventure experience. Failure or refusal to do so will result in forfeiture of the prize.
The winner and guest may be required to sign a separate indemnity and/or release form reasonably required by the Promoter or its service providers. If the winner or guest does not sign this document, the prize will be forfeited.
6. Selection of the winners
6.1 The random computer-generated draw to select the winner will take place via Microsoft Teams and will be recorded.
6.2 The draw dates are as follows:
- 4 June 2026 (May Winner)
- 6 July 2026 (June Winner)
- 6 August 2026 (July Winner)
- 4 September 2026 (August Winner)
- 6 October2026 (September Winner)
- 5 November 2026 (October Winner)
- 4 December 2026 (November Winner)
- 12 January 2027 (December Winner)
- 8 February 2027 (January winner)
- 8 March 2027 (February winner)
- 5 April 2027 (March winner)
The initial prize draw will be conducted, and the selected winner will be contacted. If we do not receive a response from the winner, a redraw will take place (limited to one redraw only). Should the redraw winner also fail to respond, the prize will be forfeited.
If a winner accepts a prize and then forfeits it for any reason, their will be no redraw for a new winner.
6.3 If you win, the following applies:
6.3.1 You will receive the prize only once we have verified and confirmed your details, including your compliance with these terms and conditions.
6.3.2 We will call you on the Cellphone number that we have on record for you within 3 business days of the draw date to notify you that you have won. We will also send you an in-app message on your Money App and an email on the email address that we have on record for you to notify you.
6.3.3 To accept your prize, you must email DigitalHelp@Nedbank.co.za within 10 business days of receiving your winner email notification to accept your prize.
6.3.4 Once you have accepted your prize, you will have 10 business days to select your preferred option from the list of competition prizes in clause 5. If no selection is made within this period, the prize will be forfeited.
6.3.5 Your experience or voucher may be booked within a 12‑month period from the date of acceptance. If the prize is not redeemed within the validity period, it will be forfeited, and we will not draw a new winner. We will not authorize any extension of the validity period, nor will it permit the selected prize to be exchanged or replaced with another.
6.3.6 Our appointed agent, Turner Conferences, will get in touch with you to guide you through the steps to claim your prize.
6.3.7 You are only eligible to win one prize from the competition.
6.3.8 Nedbank and Turners Conferences will not be liable for any travel-related insurance, except in the case of MSC trips where travel insurance is compulsory and included in the booking costs. You agree to provide Turners Conferences with all required identification documents for yourself and/or your nominated partner or guest, where such documentation is necessary to complete bookings.
6.3.9 If a supplier cancels the prize for any reason, we will not be liable for any delays or failure to deliver any part of the prize resulting from such cancellation or from circumstances beyond our reasonable control. The supplier’s terms and conditions will apply to the cancellation, and neither we nor our agents will be responsible for any losses you may incur. We will notify you as soon as reasonably possible if your prize is affected in this way. If the supplier refunds us, we will provide you with the alternative prize option in clause 5 but if the Supplier does not refund us, you will forfeit the prize.
6.3.10 If you cancel the prize, we will not be liable for any penalties, cancellation fees, or other costs associated with the cancellation. You will be solely responsible for any such penalties or costs incurred and will forfeit the prize.
6.3.11 We will not be responsible for any technical failures affecting your participation in the competition or if your entry has been left out from participation.
6.3.12 If a dispute arises, our decision will be final and binding on all aspects of the competition, and we will not discuss the matter further.
6.3.13 All costs or expenses relating to the prize that have not been mentioned here are excluded.
6.3.14 We will not be responsible for any delays in your taking up the prize.
6.3.15 We will not be responsible for any additional conditions that third parties impose.
6.3.16 We will give the prize directly to you and not to anyone else, and we will not replace it with cash, or allow the prize to be used to pay for debt/ 3rd parties.
6.3.17 We reserve the right to replace the prize at any time with another of similar commercial value.
7. General
7.1 All the information about the competition, including information that is published on any competition material, is bound by f these terms and conditions.
7.2 By entering the competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
7.3 These terms and conditions are available on our website at nedbank.co.za throughout the competition period.
7.4 If you win, we may ask you to consent in writing to endorsing, promoting and advertising any of our services, without payment. If you decline our request, you will still receive the prize.
7.5 By entering the competition, you acknowledge that your personal information needed for this competition will be shared with us and our agents, but only to the extent necessary for the competition. Your personal information will be used in line with South African consumer and data protection laws.
7.6 We may extend, shorten or cancel the competition immediately and without notifying you if it is permitted by law, if we must do so by law, or for reasons beyond our control. If this happens, you will give up any rights that you may have in terms of this competition and you will have no recourse against us or our agents, contractors or sponsors as a result of the extension, shortening or cancellation.
7.7 We or our directors, employees, agents or suppliers will not be responsible for any direct or indirect loss or damage resulting from your participation in the competition, or for any accident, injury, harm, damages, costs or death that you or any other person who participates in the prize and by accepting, using, or taking part in any activity related to the prize sustains at any point during the fulfilment of the prize.
