Terms and conditions
1. The promoter
Nedbank Limited, registration number 1951/000009/06 (we, us, our), runs this promotion. We reserve the right to make it available to certain Nedbank participants only.
2. Promotion period
The promotion starts on 1 June to 31 July 2026. (Promotion period).
3. Who can and cannot participate in the promotion
3.1 A participant (you, your) must:
3.1.1 be 18 years or older;
3.1.2 have a valid South African identity document or smart ID card;
3.1.3 be an existing Nedbank standalone credit card client; (no current account but can hold any other product)
3.1.4 all accounts must be in good standing (not in arrears or handed over for legal collection);
3.1.5 mMust be an existing Nedbank Account holder with the account open for a period greater than 60 days; and
3.1.6 have never been digitally active before, or not digitally active in the last 60 days.
3.2 You cannot participate if:
3.2.1 you are a Nedbank employee (including temporary or contract employees), or an employee of our associated companies, agents, contractors or sponsors.
3.2.2 Wealth, Private Banking and Juristic Nedbank clients.
4. How to qualify
4.1 To qualify for the reward, you must:
4.1.1 Never have been Digitally Active before
Download and register on the Nedbank Money app with a first-time login. The participant then needs to perform an additional login within the promotion period.
4.1.2 Digitally Inactive participants (i.e. their last digital activity date is 60 days or more from the promotion start date)
Reactivate the Nedbank Money app with a new login. The participant then needs to perform an additional login within the promotion period.
5. The reward
5.1 You will receive a R100 Avo voucher:
5.1.1 The first 2000 participants (never digitally active before or digitally inactive) who meet these criteria, will be issued with a R100 Avo voucher within 10 working days of the promotion closing date via an in-app notification followed by an email.
5.1.2 The voucher is valid for 3 months from the date of issue.
5.1.3 The voucher cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred, or substituted.
5.1.4 You can only receive the award once during the promotion period.
5.1.5 Voucher use is subject to Avo’s platform terms and conditions.
5.1.6 We are not responsible for product availability, delivery, or performance on the Avo platform.
6. Selection of the qualifying participants
6.1 If you qualify, the following applies:
6.1.1 You will receive the voucher only once we have verified and confirmed your details, including your compliance with these terms and conditions.
6.1.2 We will not be responsible for delays outside our control, or for any additional conditions or requirements imposed by Avo or any third-party provider.
6.2 We will not be responsible for any technical failures affecting your participation in the promotion or if your entry has been left out from participation.
6.3 If a dispute arises, our decision will be final and binding on all aspects of the promotion, and we will not discuss the matter further.
6.4 All costs or expenses relating to the prize that have not been mentioned here are excluded.
6.5 We will not be responsible for any delays in your taking up the prize.
6.6 We will not be responsible for any additional conditions that third parties impose.
6.7 We will give the prize directly to you and not to anyone else, and we will not replace it with cash.
6.8 We will not be liable for delays or failure to deliver any part of the prize resulting from acts beyond our reasonable control. We will let you know as soon as reasonably possible if your prize is affected in this way.
6.9 We reserve the right to replace the prize at any time with another of similar commercial value.
7. General
7.1 All information relating to this promotion, including information published in the promotional material, forms part of these terms and conditions.
7.2 By participating in the promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
7.3 Your personal information will be used only as necessary for this promotion and will be processed in accordance with South African data-protection laws.
7.4 We may extend, shorten or cancel the promotion if required to do so by law or for reasons beyond our control.
7.5 If this happens, you agree that you will have no recourse against us, our agents or sponsors.
7.6 We, our directors, employees, agents or suppliers will not be responsible for any direct or indirect loss, harm or damage arising from your participation in the promotion or use of the reward.
7.7 The promoter(s) may end this promotion at any time. If this happens, you waive any rights you may have against the promoter(s).
