Promoter
Nedbank Limited (we, us, our) runs this promotion.
1. Promotion period
The promotion will be valid from 22 March 2022 to 30 October 2022 (promotion period), subject to our early termination or extension.
2. How to participate
Participants (you, your) must meet the criteria below as well as the criteria in clause 4. If you participate in the promotion, you agree that these terms and conditions will apply to and be binding on you.
You must:
2.1 be 18 years or older;
2.2 be a South African citizen; and
2.3 have any one of the following Private Clients or Small Business Services cards from Nedbank:
2.3.1 American Express Card;
2.3.2 VISA signature Card; or
2.3.3 Mastercard card.
3. Qualifying criteria
3.1 We must have sent you a newsletter about this promotion before or during the promotional period.
3.2 You must contact Tourvest to book your travel package.
3.3 You must pay for your travel package using any of the cards listed in clause 3.3 above.
4. Travel packages
4.1 We have partnered with Tourvest to offer you the travel packages set out in schedule 1.
4.2 You can book any of these travel packages, but you will receive the benefit of the offer in terms of this promotion only if you pay with any of the cards mentioned in 3.3. You must book your travel package directly through Tourvest using the contact details in clause 7.
4.3 If you choose to pay using any other method, the costs of the travel packages as set out in schedule 1 will no longer apply.
4.4 There is no limit on the number of travel packages that you can book through this promotion and the rates set out in schedule 1 will apply to each booking, on condition that you adhere to these terms and conditions.
5. Restrictions
5.1 Some of the airlines, hotels or countries to which you can travel in terms of this promotion may impose their own terms and conditions or restrictions regarding travel and stay. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are fully aware of any requirements or restrictions before booking any travel packages or any changes imposed after you have made a booking.
5.2 We have tried to highlight some of the key Covid-19 protocols and restrictions that apply to each destination in schedule 1, but it remains your responsibility to ensure that you are fully aware of any additional or new restrictions that may be imposed before or after booking a travel package. You can confirm any of these restrictions directly with the American Express concierge desk.

7. Exclusions and other important terms
7.1 Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to, or must be understood to, unlawfully restrict, limit or avoid any rights or obligations, for either you or us, in terms of the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), 68 of 2008.
7.2 By participating in the promotion, you acknowledge that it will be managed under the CPA.
7.3 You undertake to do everything necessary to enable us to comply with our obligations under the CPA.
7.4 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa.
8. General
8.1 If required to do so because of legislative or regulatory reasons, we may terminate the promotion immediately and without notice. This includes any limitations or restrictions imposed by any governmental authority in any of the participating destinations.
8.2 The cancellation policies relevant to the travel packages are driven by the supplier of those travel packages and differ with each destination or trip. If any travel to any of the destinations is limited or suspended and you have already booked and paid for a travel package, you must contact Tourvest on the contact numbers provided. They will then give you the necessary information regarding any cancellations or suspensions.
8.3 We are not the provider of the travel packages. We have merely partnered with Tourvest to offer exclusive rates to participants in terms of this promotion. As a result, we will not be liable for any losses or damages that may result from cancelled bookings or the inability to travel.
8.4 All information about this promotion, including information that is published on any promotional material, is part of these terms and conditions.
8.5 We, our associated companies, agents, contractors and sponsors will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage resulting from your participation in the promotion or for any other loss or damage.
8.6 We may ask you to consent in writing to endorse, promote or advertise any of our services without compensation.
8.7 You may decline our request to use your personal details or image in marketing material or to participate in the marketing of any of our services or products.
