Indemnity
By accepting this invitation and attending Nedbank Charity Golf Day, you agree to and acknowledge the following:
- You will attend this event at your own risk.
- You will participate in any activity voluntarily and acquaint yourself with any hazards and danger that you may be exposed to while participating in an activity.
- You will have no claim against Nedbank (we, us, our) for any:
- loss, theft, damage, expense, physical injury, hospitalisation, medical treatment, or death (whether directly, indirectly, consequential or otherwise, however arising and for whatever reason), whether caused by our or a third party’s wilful act, negligence, or default or caused by incidents, including civil strife, strikes, terrorist activity, natural disasters, and sickness and disease.
- For the sake of clarity, this indemnity covers all activities (including the extra ones you choose yourself) from the start, ie going to, being at and leaving the venue.
- You will behave and conduct yourself in a proper, responsible, professional, and acceptable manner.
- You will not engage in any activity that could compromise our public image or that could be prejudicial to or raise questions about our integrity and reputation.
- ·You will refrain from contravening any laws, rules, and regulations. If you do, (whether you are convicted, fined or imprisoned), we will not be liable for any costs that you may incur in criminal or other proceedings resulting from your contravening these laws, rules, and regulations.
- If you leave any personal belongings at the venue, you will do so at your own risk, and hold us harmless against any loss, claim or damage that you may incur as a result of leaving the personal belongings at the venue.
- We will not arrange and do not control any accommodation, catering, transport, or other services. These services will be provided by third parties, and their terms and conditions will apply. We will not be liable for their actions or lack of action.
- To the best of your knowledge, you are in good health, well, and physically able to attend this event, and you waive all and any future rights and claims that you may have against us arising from this event.
- If you incur any additional costs, it will be for your own account.
