How to qualify for a Nedbank overdraft
You must be 18 years or older.
You must have or will need to first open any of our qualifying bank accounts.
You'll need to earn R6,000 if you have an active Nedbank current account; or earn R7,000 if you don’t have a Nedbank current account and we will open a new account for you.
Your monthly income must be paid into the account that is linked to your overdraft.
Documents you'll need
Your valid South African ID card or document, or your valid passport and work permit if you are not a citizen
Your most recent payslip or letter from your employer if you are on contract or pension
Three months bank statements if your salary is not paid into a Nedbank account
