  • Proof of residence, not older than 3 months, for each member or director who is signing surety.

  • Signed confirmation of the company’s shareholding from a registered accountant.

  • Details of any other shareholder who holds more than 25% of the company stake.

  • The latest annual audited financials signed by a registered accountant and/or management accounts for the past 12 months.

  • A quotation or invoice for the solar solution which must be from a Nedbank-approved supplier.

  • Copies of your company registration documents, and your Business Register Number Certificate (BRNC).

  • Proof of the registered business address, not older than 3 months.

  • If you are not the registered owner of the property, or if the property is a sectional title, you will need to provide a consent waiver document approved by the registered owner and/or trustees. This signed document must be returned to us to proceed with the application.
  • If the property where the solar equipment is installed is rented by the principal debtor, a deposit will be required. The percentage of the deposit will depend on the number of years the company has been in business. The deposit percentage is at our discretion and may be increased due to additional risk considerations or affordability.
