Things to note before you apply

To qualify for solar energy financing, your business must be valid, and registered in South Africa

The solution you want to finance must be new. We do not finance used, demo, or second-hand solutions.

The minimum and maximum amount we can loan is between R50,000 and R3.5 million.

Provided you meet all requirements, we can finance your solar energy installation whether you own, or have leased your business premises.

If your energy financing is approved, we'll help you with the following to guarantee a quality installation:

Obtain a tax invoice from the solar supplier.
Draw up your finance agreement and arrange for you to sign it at your nearest Nedbank branch.
Pay the provider and ensure they install your solar solution on your business premises.
Ensure your solar solution is registered with the South African Movable Asset Register (SAMAR).
