Terms and conditions

1. Definitions

The words in the table below mean the following:

2. The promoter

We run this competition and reserve the right to make it available to Nedbank clients.

3. Competition period

The competition starts on 1 November 2026 and ends on 30 November 2026.

4. Who may enter the competition

4.1 To enter the competition, you must:

4.1.1 be 18 years or older;

4.1.2 have a South African identity document; and

4.1.3 ensure that your account is in good standing.

4.2 Our employees (including temporary and contract employees), associated companies, agents, contractors, and sponsors may not enter the competition.

5. How to enter

5.1 To stand a chance to win the prize, you must do the following during the competition period and you will automatically be entered into the competition:

5.1.1 Open and/Use a Nedbank MiGoals, MiGoals Plus Account or MiGoals Premium Account; and

5.1.2 Spend R1,000 or more, in a single purchase or multiple purchases that add up to R1,000 or more at any Boxer store using your Nedbank MiGoals, MiGoals Plus Account or MiGoals Premium Account; or

5.1.3 Perform a deposit of R1,000 in a single purchase or multiple purchases that add up to R1,000 or more at any Boxer till point, into your Nedbank MiGoals, MiGoals Plus Account or MiGoals Premium Account.

6. The prize

60 participants, each stand a chance to win a R500 Boxer stationery eCoupon.

7. Selection of the winners

7.1 The random computer-generated draw to select the winners will take place on 18 December 2026 via Microsoft Teams and will be recorded.

7.2 10 winners will be selected from each of the 6 regions below:

7.2.1 Inland region
(Centurion & Midrand, Free State, Greater North West and Tshwane North West)

7.2.2 Coastal region
(Durban & North Coastal, Greater PMB & Hinterland, Greater South Coast, PE & East London and Zululand)

7.2.3 Northern region
(Limpopo, Mpumalanga Highveld, Mpumalanga Lowveld and Polokwane Surrounds)

7.2.4 Cape region
(Cape Town Central, Cape Town North, Garden Route, Greater Paarl and Weskus, Northern Cape)

7.2.5 Main Market
(Cape Town Main Market, Durban Main Market, Gauteng North Main Market, Gauteng South And East Main Market, Upper Eastern Cape Main Market)

7.2.6 Gauteng region
(Gauteng Central, Gauteng East and Gauteng West)

7.3 If you win, the following applies:

7.3.1 You will receive the prize only once we have verified and confirmed your details, including your compliance with these terms and conditions.

7.3.2 We will SMS you on the cellphone number that we have on record for you within 5 business days of the draw date, advising you that you have won.

7.3.3 We will send you a follow-up SMS on 15 January 2027 confirming that your prize is ready for collection at the Boxer store where you made your purchase/s.

8. Conditions and limitations

8.1 We will try to contact you a maximum of 3 times. If we cannot get hold of you after the third try, you will forfeit the prize, and we will choose a new winner.

8.2 You can only win once, in this competition.

8.3 We will not be responsible for any technical failures affecting your participation in the competition or if your entry has been left out from participation.

8.4 If a dispute arises, our decision will be final and binding on all aspects of the competition, and we will not discuss the matter further.

8.5 All costs or expenses relating to the prize that have not been mentioned here are excluded.

8.6 We will not be responsible for any delays in your taking up the prize.

8.7 We will not be responsible for any additional conditions that third parties impose.

8.8 We will give the prize directly to you and not to anyone else, and we will not replace it with cash.

8.9 We will not be liable for delays or failure to deliver any part of the prize resulting from acts beyond our reasonable control. We will let you know as soon as reasonably possible if your prize is affected in this way.

8.10 We reserve the right to replace the prize at any time with another of similar commercial value.

9. General

9.1 All the information about the competition, including information that is published on any competition material, is part of these terms and conditions.

9.2 By entering the competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

9.3 These terms and conditions are available on our website at nedbank.co.za throughout the competition period.

9.4 If you win, we may ask you to consent in writing to endorsing, promoting and advertising any of our services, without payment. If you decline our request, you will still receive the prize.

9.5 By entering the competition, you acknowledge that your personal information needed for this competition will be shared with us and our agents, but only to the extent necessary for the competition. Your personal information will be used in line with South African consumer and data protection laws.

9.6 We may extend, shorten or cancel the competition immediately and without notifying you if it is permitted by law, if we must do so by law, or for reasons beyond our control. If this happens, you will give up any rights that you may have in terms of this competition, and you will have no recourse against us or our agents, contractors or sponsors as a result of the extension, shortening or cancellation.

9.7 We or our directors, employees, agents or suppliers will not be responsible for any direct or indirect loss or damage resulting from your participation in the competition, or for any accident, injury, harm, damages, costs or death that you or any other person who participates in the prize sustains at any point during the fulfilment of the prize.

9.8 This competition is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with Instagram, Facebook, or X.
