2026 Nedbank Consumer Education competition with MoyaApp
Terms and conditions
1. The promoter
Nedbank Limited, registration number 1951/000009/06 (we, us, our), runs this competition.
2. Competition period
The competition starts at 8:00 on 11 September 2026 and ends at 23:59 on 5 November 2026 (competition period).
3. Who can and cannot participate in the competition
3.1 A participant (you, your) must:
3.1.1 be 18 years or older; and
3.1.2 have a South African identity document or card.
3.2 The following persons are not eligible to participate in the competition:
3.2.1 our employees (including temporary and contract employees), immediate family (spouse, partner, parents, siblings and children, including adopted children, but not step or half relations), directors, members, associated companies, agents, contractors, consultants, sponsors or marketing service providers;
3.2.2 any person who has won a Nedbank competition from January to July 2026;
3.2.3 any person who does not meet the eligibility criteria set out in clause 3.1.
4. How to enter
4.1 To stand a chance to win the prize, you must do the following during the competition period:
4.1.1 Use the MoyaApp, complete the NedFinHealth Survey and complete all questions, including the option to receive your personalised NedFinHealth report by completing your e-mail address.
4.1.2 Only one entry per person will be considered. Multiple entries will be disqualified.
4.1.3 Entries must be made by the participant personally and must not be submitted via automated means or on behalf of another person.
5. The prize
5.1 Twenty participants stand a chance to win an AVO voucher to the value of R250 each.
6. Selection of the winners
6.1 The random computer-generated draw to select the winners will take place on 12 November 2026 via Microsoft Teams and will be recorded.
6.2 Winners will be announced via e-mail and will have one month to claim their prize.
6.3 If you win, the following applies:
6.3.1 You will receive the prize only once we have verified and confirmed your details, including your compliance with these terms and conditions.
6.3.2 We may require you to provide certain information and supporting documentation to verify your identity and eligibility before awarding the prize. This may include, amongst others, a copy of your valid South African identity document or card and e-mail address;
6.3.3 All information and documentation provided must be complete, accurate and correspond with each other. We reserve the right to verify all details provided.
6.3.4 If you fail to provide the required information within the timeframe specified, or if any information provided is false, inconsistent, misleading or does not correspond, we may disqualify you and select an alternative winner.
6.3.5 We will e-mail you at the e-mail address provided within ten days business days after the draw.
6.3.6 We will contact you a maximum of three times. If we cannot get hold of you with ten days, you will forfeit the prize, and we will choose a new winner.
6.3.7 We will not be responsible for any technical failures affecting your participation in the competition or if your entry has been left out from participation.
6.3.8 If a dispute arises, our decision will be final and binding on all aspects of the competition, and we will not discuss the matter further.
6.3.9 All costs or expenses relating to the prize that have not been mentioned here are excluded.
6.3.10 We will not be responsible for any delays in your taking up the prize and will not extend and/or replace the prize if not redeemed within the specified validity period of the voucher.
6.3.11 We will not be responsible for any additional conditions that third parties impose.
6.3.12 We will give the prize directly to you and not to anyone else.
6.3.13 We will not be liable for delays or failure to deliver any part of the prize resulting from acts beyond our reasonable control. We will let you know as soon as reasonably possible if your prize is affected in this way.
6.3.14 We reserve the right to replace the prize at any time with another of similar commercial value.
7. General
7.1 All the information about the competition, including information that is published on any competition material, is part of these terms and conditions.
7.2 By entering the competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
7.3 These terms and conditions are available on our website at www.nedbank.co.za throughout the competition period.
7.4 If you win, we may ask you to consent in writing to endorsing, promoting and advertising any of our services, without payment. If you decline our request, you will still receive the prize.
7.5 By entering the competition, you acknowledge that your personal information needed for this competition will be shared with us and our agents, but only to the extent necessary for the competition. Your personal information will be used in line with South African consumer and data protection laws.
7.6 We may extend, shorten or cancel the competition immediately and without notifying you if it is permitted by law, if we must do so by law, or for reasons beyond our control. If this happens, you will give up any rights that you may have in terms of this competition and you will have no recourse against us or our agents, contractors or sponsors as a result of the extension, shortening or cancellation.
7.7 We or our directors, employees, agents or suppliers will not be responsible for any direct or indirect loss or damage resulting from your participation in the competition, or for any accident, injury, harm, damages, costs or death that you or any other person who participates in the prize sustains at any point during the fulfilment of the prize.
