2. Definitions
2.1 The words and expressions below mean the following, and similar words and expressions will mean the same:

These games include LOTTO, LOTTO PLUS 1, LOTTO 5 MAX, POWERBALL, POWERBALL EXTRA, and DAILY LOTTO.
2.1.3 Sizekhaya ticket or ticket – a ticket or valid receipt proving an entry into the relevant draw or game that a participant gets from a retailer through an online platform after having played any of the games, as applicable. 'Receipt' will bear the same corresponding meaning as 'ticket', depending on the game played.
2.1.4 Nedbank's digital channels – Nedbank Cellphone Banking, the Money app and Online Banking.
2.1.5 Participant – you, the player, having chosen to play the Sizekhaya games by buying a Sizekhaya ticket.
2.1.6 Quick Pick – when numbers are randomly generated by the Sizekhaya central gaming systems.
3. How to play the Sizekhaya games
3.1 LOTTO is a game of chance where you choose 6 numbers from a field of 52 numbers or select a Quick Pick.
3.2 LOTTO PLUS 1 is an extension of the LOTTO game where selections made for a LOTTO draw are wagered for an additional corresponding LOTTO PLUS 1 draw. It gives you a second chance to win in the LOTTO game at an additional cost. You cannot enter the ticket into the LOTTO PLUS 1 draw unless you have played the LOTTO game.
3.3 LOTTO 5 MAX is a further extension of the Sizekhaya LOTTO game where number selections made for a LOTTO draw are wagered for an additional corresponding LOTTO 5 MAX draw. It gives you a third chance to win in the LOTTO game at an additional cost. You cannot enter the ticket into the LOTTO 5 MAX draw unless you have played the LOTTO game and entered the ticket into the LOTTO PLUS 1 draw.
3.4 POWERBALL is a game of chance with 2-grid selection. In the first or main grid you must select 5 numbers from a field of 50 numbers or make a Quick Pick selection. In the second or secondary grid you must select 1 of 16 numbers. This is not a bonus ball; the POWERBALL is a vital component of the game.
3.5 POWERBALL EXTRA is an extension of the POWERBALL game where number selections made for a POWERBALL draw are wagered for an additional corresponding POWERBALL EXTRA draw. It gives you a second chance to win in the POWERBALL game at an additional cost. You cannot enter the ticket into the POWERBALL EXTRA draw unless you have played the POWERBALL game.
3.6 DAILY LOTTO is a game of chance. You can either manually choose 5 numbers from 1 to 36, or select a Quick Pick. There will be no rollovers for the DAILY LOTTO and jackpots will be won daily. With no rollovers, meaning if there is no jackpot-winning combination, the jackpot will roll down to the next division. In the unlikely event that there are no winners in division 1 and 2, the allocation will move to division 3. If there are no winners in division 1, 2 and 3, the prize allocations will move to division 4. If there are no winners in any division, the jackpot rolls over to the next draw.
3.7 The DAILY LOTTO draws will take place every night, except on Christmas Day.
3.8 The allocation of prizes, prize tiers, Sizekhaya game and associated procedures will be governed by the officially approved game rules as determined by Sizekhaya and approved by the National Lotteries Commission.
