Terms and conditions
1. The promoter
Nedbank Insurance, registration number 1993/001021/06, FSP Licence 41104 (we, us, our), runs this competition. Nedbank Insurance will advertise and distribute the details of this competition on various approved communication channels and make it available to contacted Nedbank Insurance clients and employees only.
2. Competition period
The competition starts on the 3rd of November 2025 and ends at midnight on the 30th of November 2025 (competition period).
3. Who can and cannot participate in the competition
A participant (you, your) must have completed and submitted their details for an obligation free quote through the Money app or online banking. The quote request must at least be for Motor or Buildings insurance.
4. How to enter
To stand a chance to win the prize, the entrant must submit their details for an obligation free Personal Lines insurance quote through the Money app or online banking. The quote must at least be for Motor or Buildings insurance. If the participant submits their details and receive a quote from Nedbank Insurance, they will be automatically entered into a randomised prize draw to win one of five emergency kits, each worth R650 (six hundred and fifty rand) regardless of whether they take up the solution or not.
5. The prize
5.1 Randomly selected winning participants will win one of five emergency kits, each worth R650 (six hundred and fifty rand).
6. Selection of the winners
The random computer-generated draw to select the winners, which will take place two weeks after the competition closure date based on the Personal Lines insurance related quotes generated between the 3rd and 30th of November 2025 via the Money app or Online banking.
7. If you win, the following applies:
7.1 You will receive the prize only once we have verified and confirmed your details, including your compliance with these terms and conditions.
7.2 You can only win once during this period.
7.3 The Nedbank Insurance Communications department will send you an email to confirm your delivery details within 5 (five) business days from date of the draw.
7.4 We will not be responsible for any technical failures affecting your participation in the competition or if your entry has been left out from the randomised draw.
7.5 If a dispute arises, our decision will be final and binding on all aspects of the competition, and the matter will not be discussed further.
7.6 All costs or expenses relating to the prize that have not been mentioned here are excluded. If you do not take up your prize, or if you reject or forfeit it (if you are forced to give it up because you do not meet a requirement), we will have a separate draw to select another winner in terms of this competition
7.7 We will give the prize directly to you and not to anyone else, and we will not replace it with cash.
7.8 We will not be held liable for delays or failure to deliver any part of the prize resulting from acts beyond our reasonable control. We will let you know as soon as reasonably possible if your prize is affected in this way.
7.9 We reserve the right to replace the prize at any time with another of similar commercial value.
8. General
8.1 All the information about the competition, including information that is published on any competition material, is part of these terms and conditions.
8.2 By entering the competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are available on our website throughout the competition period.
8.3 If you win, we may ask you to consent in writing to endorsing, promoting, and advertising any of our services, without payment. If you decline our request, you will still receive the prize.
8.4 By entering the competition, you acknowledge and consent for your personal information needed for this competition to be processed by us, but only to the extent necessary for the competition. Your personal information will be used in line with the South African consumer and data protection laws.
8.5 We may extend, shorten or cancel the competition immediately and without notifying you if it is permitted by law, if we must do so by law, or for reasons beyond our control. If this happens, you will give up any rights that you may have in terms of this competition and you will have no recourse against us or our agents, contractors, or sponsors as a result of the extension, shortening or cancellation.
8.6 We or our directors, employees, agents, or suppliers will not be responsible for any direct or indirect loss or damage resulting from your participation in the competition, or for any accident, injury, harm, damages, costs or death that you or any other person who participates in the prize sustains at any point during the fulfilment of the prize.
