    Nedbank Insurance Greenbacks 

    Campaign terms and conditions

     

    1. The promoter

    Nedgroup Insurance Company Limited, Registration Number: 1993/001021/06, runs this campaign. By participating in the Nedbank Insurance Greenbacks campaign entrants agree to the rules set out in these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to make it available to a selected group of Nedbank clients only.

     

    2. Campaign period

    The campaign starts on 21 October 2025 and ends at midnight on 21 April 2026 (campaign period). No entries received after the 21 April 2026 will be considered. The fulfilment end date of the campaign will be at midnight on 21 October 2026. 

     

    3. Who can participate in the campaign

    3.1 A participant (you) must:

    3.1.1 be 18 years or older;

    3.1.2 have a valid South African ID;

    3.1.3 have South African permanent residency status; and

    3.2 Nedbank employees (including temporary and contract employees) including their spouses and children, associated companies, agents, contractors, and sponsors may participate in the campaign

    3.3 individuals who have taken up a Nedbank home loan or vehicle loan in good standing (i.e., on Greenbacks Level 3 – Responsible Borrower package) may participate

    3.4 individuals whose Nedbank accounts are in good standing, which means that they may not be in arrears or have been handed over for legal collection may participate 

    3.5 individuals who do not have an existing Nedbank Insurance vehicle or building insurance policy must accept an obligation-free quote to participate

    3.6 must have consented to receiving marketing communication from Nedbank and its subsidiaries 

     

    4. How to enter

    To stand a chance to be selected to be rewarded with a once-off allocation of Greenbacks points during the campaign period, you must accept and complete an obligation-free insurance quote for your Nedbank-financed vehicle or home from Nedbank Insurance. 

     

    5. The Greenbacks points allocation

    • Clients on Greenbacks Level 3 who accept an obligation-free quote from Nedbank Insurance for only one Nedbank-financed asset, i.e. either Home OR Vehicle, stand a chance to receive a once-off allocation of 1 000 Greenbacks. Only one unique quote per client will be eligible for the Greenbacks rewards allocation, regardless of how many quotes are submitted.

    • Clients on Greenbacks Level 3 who accept an obligation-free quote from Nedbank Insurance for 2 Nedbank-financed assets, i.e. Home AND Vehicle, stand a chance to receive a once-off allocation of 2 500 Greenbacks. Only one unique quote per client will be eligible for the Greenbacks rewards allocation, regardless of how many quotes are submitted.

    If the clients who have accepted an obligation -free quote in point 5 above also take up vehicle or building cover or cover for both sections with Nedbank Insurance during the campaign period, they will automatically get an upfront discount of up to 20% as per the below:

     

    • 5% for taking up cover via the Money App or Online Banking

    • 5% for paying their vehicle or building cover premiums from a Nedbank savings or cheque account 

    • 10% if they purchase two sections of cover or more (i.e. vehicle and building cover)

       

    Clients who take up the relevant Nedbank Insurance policy for their vehicle and/or home at any time during the campaign period will stand a chance to receive additional quarterly rewards for their loyalty if they pay their premiums in full, on time for three consecutive months. The Greenbacks points will be credited into their Greenbacks account during the campaign fulfilment period.   

     

    • Clients who take up cover for only 1 Nedbank-financed asset, i.e. Home OR Vehicle with up-to-date premium payments will stand a chance to receive up to two quarterly allocations of 5 000 Greenbacks at the end of each three-month cycle. 

    • Clients who take up cover for both Nedbank-financed assets, i.e. Home AND Vehicle with up-to-date premium payments will stand a chance to receive up to two quarterly allocations of 10 000 Greenbacks at the end of each three-month cycle.

     

    6. Selection of the winners

    6.1 The once-off allocation of Greenbacks will take place at any time during the campaign period following the completion of a single, unique insurance quote for either vehicle or building cover or both.

    6.2 If you are selected for the once-off Greenbacks allocation, the following applies:

    6.2.1 You will receive the Greenbacks points allocation only once we have verified and confirmed your details, including your compliance with these terms and conditions.

    6.2.2 You will receive a WhatsApp notification of the Greenbacks points allocation. The Greenbacks allocation will be available until redemption as per the Greenbacks rewards programme rules.

    6.2.3 You can only be selected once for the once-off Greenbacks points allocation. 

    6.2.4 You can only be eligible to receive the additional quarterly Greenbacks allocation if you’ve paid the Nedbank Insurance vehicle or building cover premiums consistently, in full, for three consecutive months.

    6.2.5 If a dispute arises, our decision will be final and binding on all aspects of the campaign, and we will not discuss the matter further.

    6.2.6 All costs or expenses relating to the Greenbacks points allocation that have not been mentioned here are excluded.

    6.2.7 We will not be responsible for any additional conditions that third parties impose.

    6.2.8 We will not be liable for delays or failure to deliver any part of the Greenbacks points allocation resulting from acts beyond our reasonable control. We will let you know as soon as reasonably possible if your Greenbacks points allocation is affected in this way. 

    6.2.9 We reserve the right to replace the Greenbacks points allocation at any time with another of similar commercial value.

     

    7. General

    7.1 All information about this campaign, including information that is published on any promotional material, is part of these terms and conditions. 

    7.2 By participating in the campaign, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. 

    7.3 These terms and conditions are available on the Nedbank website throughout the campaign period. 

    7.4 We may ask you to consent in writing to endorsing, promoting, and advertising any of our services, without payment. If you decline our request, you will still be eligible to receive the Greenbacks points allocation. 

    7.5 At the conclusion of the campaign, selected participants may be invited to share feedback via a Voice of the Customer (VOC) survey to help improve future campaigns. If you decline our request, you will still be eligible to receive the Greenbacks points allocation.

    7.6 By entering and participating in this campaign, you acknowledge that your personal information needed for the campaign will be shared with us and our agents, but only to the extent necessary for this campaign. Your personal information will be used in line with South African consumer and data protection laws. 

    7.7 We reserve the right to extend, shorten, postpone or cancel the campaign immediately and without notifying you if it is permitted by law, if we must do so by law, or for reasons beyond our control. If this happens, you will give up any rights that you may have in terms of this campaign and you will have no recourse against us or our agents, contractors, or sponsors as a result of the extension, shortening or cancellation. 

    7.8 We or our directors, employees, agents or suppliers will not be responsible for any direct or indirect loss or damage resulting from your participation in the campaign, or for any accident, injury, harm, costs, or death that you or any other person who participates in the offer sustains at any point during the fulfilment of the Greenbacks points allocation.
