1 The promoter

Nedbank Limited, registration number 1951/000009/06 (we, us, our), runs this promotion. We reserve the right to make it available to Private Clients accountholders only. 

 

 

2 Who can and cannot participate in the promotions

A participant (you, your) must:

  • Be 18 years or older;
  • Have a South African ID document or card;
  • Ensure that your account is in good standing, which means that it may not be in arrears or have been handed over for legal collection; and
  • Our employees (including temporary and contract employees), associated companies, agents, contractors, and sponsors may not participate in the promotion.

  • This offer is available to existing Nedbank Private Clients and will be communicated via email, SMS, and in-app messages.
  • To redeem, visit https://www.taxtim.com and enter the promo code NEDBANKTAX25 at checkout.
  • Valid for individual tax returns (ITR12: Lite, Smart, or Ultra) and individual provisional tax returns (IRP6) only.
  • This is a limited offer available to the first 1,700 clients only.
  • Promotion period: 7 August 2025 – 31 July 2026.
  • Not valid for company tax returns (ITR14) or company provisional tax returns.
  • Limited to one redemption per person within a 12-month period.
  • Non-refundable once issued and non-transferable — vouchers may only be used by the recipient.
  • Any unused value will not be refunded or carried over after expiry.
  • Vouchers may not be exchanged for cash; no change or credit will be issued.
  • Nedbank will not be held responsible for any losses or damages incurred through the use of this application, including but not limited to penalties or losses imposed by the South African Revenue Service.
  • Nedbank reserves the right to amend or withdraw the offer at any time without prior notice.

 

4 General

4.1 All information about these promotions, including information that is published on any promotional material, is part of these terms and conditions.

4.2 By participating in any of these promotions, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

4.3 These terms and conditions are available on our website at nedbank.co.za throughout the promotion period.

4.4 We may ask you to consent in writing to endorsing, promoting and advertising any of our services, without payment. If you decline our request, you will still receive the offer.

4.5 By entering and participating, you acknowledge that your personal information needed for the promotion will be shared with us and our agents, but only to the extent necessary for this promotion. Your personal information will be used in line with South African consumer and data protection laws.

4.6 We may extend, shorten or cancel the promotion immediately and without notifying you if it is permitted by law, if we must do so by law, or for reasons beyond our control. If this happens, you will give up any rights that you may have in terms of this promotion and you will have no recourse against us or our agents, contractors or sponsors as a result of the extension, shortening or cancellation.

4.7 We or our directors, employees, agents or suppliers will not be responsible for any direct or indirect loss or damage resulting from your participation in the promotion, or for any accident, injury, harm, costs, or death that you or any other person who participates in the offer sustains at any point during the fulfilment of the offer.
