Terms and conditions
1. The promoter
Nedbank Limited, reg no 1951/000009/06 (we, us, our), runs this competition.
2. Competition period
The competition will start at 8:00 on 1 January 2026 and will end at 17:00 on 31 January 2026 (competition period).
3. Who can participate
3.1 A participant (you, your) must:
3.1.1 be 18 years or older; and
3.1.2 have a valid identity document of the Republic of South Africa; and
3.1.3 permanently reside in the Republic of South Africa; and
3.1.4 must be a registered user on Facebook or X;
4. Who may not participate
4.1 Our employees (including temporary and contract employees) directors, members, business partners or immediate family (spouse or partner, parents, siblings and children, including adopted children, but not half or step relations); and
4.2 Our agents, consultants or marketing service providers.
5. The prize
5.1 15 x R1 000 Boxer vouchers = A total of R15 000 worth of Boxer Vouchers.
5.2 1 prize is equal to 1xR1000 Boxer voucher.
6. How to enter
6.1 To stand a chance to win the prize, you must enter during the competition period and:
6.1.1 Entrants have to answer the question on our social media (Facebook and X) and respond to the question in the comments section and use “We💚Nedbank” alongside your answer;
6.1.2 You are only entitled to one entry per person and/or Facebook or X profile.
Selection of winners
6.2 Winners will be selected by way of a draw which will take place on 2 February 2026;
6.3 The draw will take place via a random computer-generated draw at our office (135 Rivonia Road, Sandown, Sandton) or via a Skype or Teams meeting and will be recorded.
6.4 If you win a prize, the following applies:
6.4.1 we will send you a direct message via your social-media account and ask for your email address.
6.4.2 You will receive the prize via email only after we have verified and confirmed your contact details, including your compliance with these terms and conditions.
6.4.3 All costs or expenses relating to the prize that have not been mentioned here are excluded.
6.4.4 We will give the prize directly to you and not to anyone else by sending the prize to you via the email address provided by you in terms of paragraph 6.4.1 above.
6.4.5 We will not be responsible for
6.4.5.1 :any technical failures affecting your participation in the competition or if your entry has been left out from participation;
6.4.5.2 any delay or failure in your taking up the prize;
6.4.5.3 delays or failure to deliver any part of the reward resulting from acts beyond our reasonable control. We will let you know you as soon as reasonably possible if the prize is affected in this way; and/or
6.4.5.4 any loss, damage, costs, injury or death that results from using the prize.
7. General
7..1 All information about this competition, including information that is published on any competition material, is part of these terms and conditions.
7.2 By participating in the competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
7.3 These terms and conditions are available on our website Nedbank.co.za throughout the competition period.
7.4 We may ask you to consent in writing to endorsing, promoting and advertising any of our services, without payment. You may decline this request, but we will still give you the prize.
7.5 By entering and participating in this competition, you acknowledge that your personal information needed for the competition will be shared with us and our agents, but only to the extent necessary for this competition. Your personal information will be used in line with South African consumer and data protection laws.
7.6 We may extend, shorten or cancel the competition immediately and without notifying you if it is permitted by law, if we must do so by law, or for reasons beyond our control. If this happens, you will give up any rights that you may have in terms of this competition and you will have no recourse against us or our agents, contractors or sponsors as a result of the extension, shortening or cancellation.
