  • You must spend at least R5,000 on your card or swipe your card at least three times every month.
  • Make sure that you pay your loan instalments on time and in full every month, and ensure you do not exceed your overdraft limit.
  • “Money out” means money that you pay a third party, for example, a retailer or service provider using Bill Payments or buying prepaid airtime, data or electricity on the Money app or Online Banking.

If you are already a Nedbank client and you have an eligible transactional account, you can apply conveniently on the Money app or Online Banking. If you are not a Nedbank client, you would need to firstly open an eligible transactional account and then link it to the Greenbacks programme. For assistance, you can call 0800 555 111 or visit your nearest Nedbank branch.

To join Greenbacks and start earning exclusive rewards, you'll need to have a qualifying transactional account. Please visit nedbank.co.za for more information on accounts that are eligible for a Greenbacks membership. 

Use your Greenbacks-linked bank card to get a percentage of your spend back in Greenbacks and exclusive rewards. The Greenbacks you get back and discounts you’ll receive depend on the card you use and the reward level you are on.
