How to save on bank fees

  • Swipe your credit card instead of using cash, it is safer and cheaper.
  • Remember, you also earn rewards on all eligible spend when swiping your linked credit card.
  • Avoid withdrawing cash with your credit card as this will incur interest from day 1 as well as attract cash withdrawal fees.
  • If you do need cash, rather use Nedbank ATMs as using other banks’ ATMs will cost you more.
  • Unless you can't avoid it, it’s more cost-effective not to transact at a branch.
  • To avoid paying additional fees, download the Nedbank Money app and use the Online Banking and self-service channels.
  • Save when you use your rewards points to pay for banking fees and charges.
