Features and benefits
Your policy will not lapse if you can pay only part of your premiums because of financial difficulties. The cover amount payable will differ depending on which premium has been paid.
1 free month of full cover when you pay the full premium for 11 months in a row.
2 free months of full cover when you pay 10 premiums in advance.
What is covered
Immediate accidental death cover with no waiting period.
Natural death cover after only 6 months.
Stillborn cover of 12.5% of the main member’s cover, limited to a maximum of 2 claims over the policy term and a maximum of R1,000 per claim.
Value for Life
Funeral support – Transportation of the deceased to a funeral home, help getting a death certificate, and funeral or cremation arrangements. R1,000 grocery voucher if you use free transportation service.
Legal services – Advice, consultation and drafting of legal documents.
What is not covered
Claims resulting from intentional self-inflicted injury, suicide or a suicide attempt in the first 12 months of your policy.
Death of an insured person participating in any dangerous pursuits, criminal activity or breach of law.
Claims resulting from war, invasion, acts of foreign enemy, terrorism, hostilities, civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection or military or usurped power or strike, labour dispute or industrial action or from ionising radiation or contamination by radioactivity from any nuclear waste or fuel.

Complete the claim form emailed to you and send it back to funeralclaims@nedbankinsurance.co.za with all required documents.
