Accidental death benefit. We will pay an amount to your estate or nominated beneficiary in the event of your sudden and accidental death to cover the legal expenses associated with your death, such as the costs of winding up your estate.
Payment of benefits under your policy. The legal expenses insurance benefit will be paid to the legal representative, or to you if you have settled the cost of the appointed attorney, provided that the cost has been pre approved by us.

Trauma and assault cover: Up to R5 000 for medical cover and R5 000 for trauma counselling after traumatic events like rape, domestic abuse, and the death of a loved one.

If you have been charged with a criminal offense, your bail application and a bail amount of up to R20 000 will be paid.
R10 000 cover for accidental death for the duration of your policy.
