What is covered?
Mechanical and electrical breakdowns of key components including the engine, gearbox, differential, transaxle and other parts that help your car run smoothly.
Cover extends to factory-fitted systems like air conditioners, electronic ignition, GPS navigation entertainment systems and electric windows.
Supplementary cover for over-fuelling, overheating and cambelt failure.
What is not covered?
Damage caused by wear and tear, rust, corrosion, pre-existing damage or poor maintenance.
Cosmetic components, tyres, non-private use or vehicles over 300,000 km.
Towing, unauthorised repairs or any parts linked to electric or hybrid vehicles.
How do I know if I am eligible?
To be covered under the policy, your vehicle must follow the below criteria:
Must be a car, motorcycle or light delivery vehicle.
Must be roadworthy.
Must be for private use only.
Must not be a taxi, rental vehicle, exotic vehicle, rebuilt vehicle (code 3), modified vehicle or a vehicle used in any form of motoring competition or sport.
