Things you need to know before you open a Nedbank Stokvel account.
This account is only available to registered stokvels
The minimum amount your stokvel can deposit for a start is R100
Documents you’ll need
Each signatory’s valid South African barcoded ID or smart card
Signatories who are not South African citizens can submit their passports and permanent resident permits
A copy of your stokvel's constitution
Proof of your stokvel's registered address
Proof of address for each stokvel member (eg a phone bill not older than 3 months)
A copy of the minutes of the meeting in which the decision was made to open a stokvel account
