The JustSave Account is a day-to-day savings account that gives you immediate access to your money, basic transactional capability and competitive interest rates at no monthly maintenance fees. It’s designed to complement your everyday transactional banking account.

Individual clients who are 18 years or older can open a JustSave Account.

You can open the account on our digital platforms, ie the Money app and Online Banking, at a Nedbank branch, or by calling the Nedbank Contact Centre.

The JustSave Account will be listed under the Save and invest dashboard under Everyday investments. Once the account has been opened, you will find it on the Accounts dashboard.

No, there is no minimum deposit or balance required to maintain the account

You have immediate access to your funds via free interaccount transfers.

You could also link an optional card to this account, which will enable you to access funds via a Nedbank branch, ATM or participating retailer where you can draw money and make purchases.

Paying third parties directly is also possible.

All transactions, other than inter-account transfers, are at a fee. The fee is higher on the JustSave Account than on your transactional banking account. It is recommended that you transact from your transactional account to save on fees. Please view the pricing guide for further details.

Yes, you can make additional deposits of any value at any time.

We offer competitive interest rates. The higher the balance, the higher the interest rate. Up-to-date information about rates are available from any Nedbank branch, the Nedbank Contact Centre, a digital channel, or our website (nedbank.co.za).

The interest is calculated on the daily balance in the account and is capitalised to the account on the fifth-last business day of each month.

No monthly maintenance fee is charged, however transactional fees will apply and will be billed overnight. Since this is a savings account, money out transactions (eg buying prepaid data and electricity) will be more expensive on JustSave than on your transactional account. To save on fees, rather transfer funds from your JustSave Account to your Nedbank transactional account for free and transact from there. Refer to our website personal.nedbank.co.za/home/rates-and-fees.html for the latest pricing schedule for this account.

You can view and download your monthly statement for free on any of our digital channels. Charges apply only if you use certain channels or download statements older than 3 months. Refer to the pricing schedule for the associated fees.
